What are your studio hours?

Jillian Joy operates by appointment only with a varying and flexible schedule for one on one consultations and fittings. Please contact the studio for any inquiry and to schedule an appointment

Is there a charge for consultations?

All consultations are free of charge with no obligation to give you all the information you need before making a decision. General inquiries can also be answered via email

How long does it take to make a gown?

The ideal amount of notice for a wedding gown would be anywhere between 6 months - 1 year before the wedding. Gowns can be made in as little as 2 months with a rush order fee however this depends on availability and amount of orders

How much is a custom gown?

This completely depends on the style of dress, fabric and final details and therefore there is no average cost, however rough quotes for designs can be given via email

Can I try my gown on before I take it home?

Clients located in the GTA are typically able to have 2 - 3 physical fittings with Jillian Joy between the design consultation and take home stage to ensure the gown is perfect for the wedding day.

Clients located outside of the GTA and abroad who are unable to meet for physical fittings should note that they may require minor alterations to be done locally once they receive their gown

Do you offer custom bridesmaids gowns?

Yes! Custom bridesmaids gowns are recommended for brides who have a specific style, theme or detail in mind that cannot be found in stores. Jillian Joy also offers custom gowns for any member of the bridal party including mother of the bride and flower girls to help complete your wedding vision

I'm not getting married, can I still order a custom gown?

Yes, Jillian Joy specializes all types of formal and evening wear. Fill out the contact form with your type of event and more info to book your consultation

What is your payment structure?

Once all design details are confirmed, a 50%  non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order. The remaining balance is then due once the gown is complete and the bride is ready to take it home
