A FILIPINO-CANAIDAN THEMED ENGAGEMENT SHOOT

This beautifully styled engagement shoot highlighted the couple’s Filipino-Canadian heritage. The bride to be is seen wearing a Jillian Joy, custom terno two piece set. The terno top is made of majesty taffeta and features an open, bow-tied back while the a-line skirt is made of a soft voile made with a court train.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, designer Jillian Joy and her husband Stephen went ahead with a civil, city hall wedding a little over a month before their scheduled public wedding. Jillian wore a custom, modern terno, mini suit dress made of 100% silk trikado and paired it with a chic, bow topped veil for the special day.


KIM & IAN’S SUMMER BRUNCH WEDDING

This feature shows off Kim and Ian’s “eclectic & relaxed brunch wedding”. For the brunch reception at the Drake, Kim wore a custom Jillian Joy terno mini dress. The dress was made with a luxury, beaded tulle and was detailed with scalloped edges and a chic ruffled hem.

This feature highlights the custom, modern filipiniana Jillian Joy made herself for her public, dockside wedding. The gown is made of a soft, microfibre stretch crepe and features a plunging neckline, low and sheer corset styled back and of course butterfly terno sleeves.
